Men's Corrections
Bringing the AA message of hope and recovery to men in correctional facilities.
Our Purpose
The Men's Corrections Committee coordinates AA meetings and support for men in jails, prisons, and correctional facilities throughout District 5. We believe that no one should be denied the opportunity for recovery, regardless of their circumstances.
What We Do
- Facilitate regular AA meetings in men's correctional facilities
- Provide AA literature and resources to incarcerated individuals
- Coordinate volunteer speakers and meeting leaders
- Support pre-release programs and reentry efforts
- Connect individuals leaving facilities with local AA groups
Volunteer Opportunities
We're always looking for dedicated AA members to help carry the message behind the walls. Volunteers must:
- Have at least one year of continuous sobriety
- Complete facility-specific training and clearance requirements
- Commit to regular meeting attendance
- Follow all facility rules and AA traditions
